The various stages of production, from the origin of the skins to the tanning and finishing of the finished object, are carried out within a 120-kilometer radius of the Layrolle workshop.
All our items are designed to be durable and repairable. Our bootmaker can resole and repair (if feasible) your sandals.
To care for your sandals, it's essential to feed them once a year with Panda Grease along the entire length of the straps (especially models with sliding straps).
If the leather is soiled or stained, Le Sac du Berger recommends using a glycerine soap or Marseille soap (pure only).
Completely immerse the stained area in soapy water and scrub gently with a sponge or soft-bristle brush.
Rinse with clean water.
Leave to dry for 24 hours, away from any source of heat (sun, radiator, etc.).
Nourish with Panda Grease. Apply a thin layer with a cloth or sponge and rub in well.
